Cooperation between the two institutions began last year and is now crowned with the signing of the agreement. The signing of this agreement is important for both sides, bearing in mind the growing interest of Italian companies to invest in production in Serbia, as well as the interest of Serbia to bring foreign investors. We can say that this result is very good bilateral relations between our two countries.

Free zones are the right place for investment, considering that its customers, primarily export-oriented, offering additional benefits. They are able to recognize people from FIAT and BENETTON which triggers the production of Niš also wants to work in a regime of free zones. In the near future are expected to attend a series of subcontractors FIAT, which will operate not only in the free zone in Kragujevac, but also in other free zones in Serbia. Today in Serbia operates seven free trade zones (Pirot, Kragujevac, Subotica, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Užice and Šabac), and by the end of this year will start to work 2 more free trade zones (Niš and Smederevo).

In order to implement this agreement the Italian Chamber of Serbian businessmen will work to inform the Italian investors, the Free Zones in Serbia, while in turn the management of free zones to provide all assistance and information to Italian investors.
